In both urban and rural communities well-used viable Post Offices are being closed, whilst under-used failing Post Offices are being left open. CAPOC is fighting this madness - join us and help stop the rot.

Post Office Ltd have carried out a first-class closure programme to date - phasing the closures in small enough groups so as not to attract national media attention, and in such a way that each post office was fighting its neighbours to be the one reprieved: "...divided they fall!"

Action groups from all over the country are now getting together to fight this farce. "United they stand!..."

It remains as true now as it was then, and those final few communities just entering battle are still unaware of what has been going on. CAPOC is non political and is not affiliated to any individual political party or organisation, nor any group with a similar acronym or name.

We do however provide links to any organisation that supports CAPOC, and/or gives useful information on campaigning against Post Office Closures, even where there are conflicts in the approach to the problem, thus giving everyone the chance to see things from all angles and to make such use of all the information as they see fit.
